About this role: The Associate Supplies Sales Specialist is a learning and development role designed to support DecisionPoint Technologies' Supplies Sales team while building product knowledge, customer engagement experience, and an understanding of the supply’s sales process. The position works alongside Account Managers and Sales Representatives to support customer opportunities, prepare estimates and proposals, and assist with existing customer relationships while developing the skills needed to grow within the Supplies Sales team.

What You'll Do

  • Support Account Managers and Sales Representatives with customer sales engagements while learning the supplies sales process.
  • Assist with customer calls, presentations, proposals, and sales cycle activities under the direction of the Supplies Sales team.
  • Support the development of supplies and consumables opportunities within existing and prospective customer      accounts.
  • Prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations, and proposals with guidance from the sales team.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge to support customer needs and recommend solutions.
  • Travel is required to support customer engagement and collaboration with the sales organization.
  • Support assigned national account sales teams as directed by sales management.
  • Learn to identify customer business needs and support the recommendation of appropriate solutions.
  • Support existing customer accounts and provide reports to management within established timelines.
  • Participate in customer business reviews as requested by Account Managers.
  • Work toward assigned sales objectives as knowledge and experience develop.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Prior sales, sales support, or customer-facing experience.
    • Experience supporting enterprise or national account sales teams or selling supplies, consumables, or related products.

Travel & Physical Requirements 

  • Travel may be required to support customer meetings, business reviews, sales engagements, training, and collaboration with internal teams. Travel frequency may vary based on customer needs, territory assignments, and business priorities.
  • This role primarily operates in a professional office or remote work environment and requires regular use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment. The employee must be able to communicate effectively, remain stationary for extended periods, and occasionally move about the workspace. Occasional lifting or transporting of materials, samples, or office items up to 25 pounds may be required.

Salary Description $65,000 - $75,000
