The Role  

As a People & Culture Business Partner at StarRez, you will be responsible for providing people and culture guidance and support to StarRez's team members, managers and executives. You will bring a comprehensive understanding of policies, practices, and processes to be a trusted partner to leadership.  

You will partner with the Senior Leadership team to ensure the successful delivery of all people and culture services, including but not limited to, workforce planning, performance management, performance reviews, surveys and reporting, recruitment and onboarding, management of people issues in consultation with and support from the P&C Vice President, Chief People Officer and department leaders.  

Role Specifics  

  • Work Location: Remote - United Kingdom
  • Travel: <5% [The percent of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.]  
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to Vice President, People & Culture  

What You Will Own  

  • Serve as key partner, adviser and sounding board for leadership, providing council and collaboration across talent acquisition, organizational design, performance management, engagement, and growth and development   
  • Lead and execute talent strategy, policy and processes for People & Culture activities for StarRez team members in multiple geographies, including employment contracts, and employee handbooks in accordance with local labor laws.  
  • Work with the P&C Vice President, Chief People Officer, and department leaders on people management activities including onboarding of new team members, performance management, learning and development, management of people issues and other activities as required  
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and engaging workplace environment that aligns with company values, including leading, organizing and executing team member engagement initiatives, ensuring high morale and team collaboration  
  • Act as the primary point of contact for people matters, resolving team member concerns and escalating issues as needed.  
  • Manage Leave Administration, including Annual, Personal, Maternity/Paternity, etc.  


Required Qualifications  

  • 5+ years’ experience in a HR generalist role  
  • Strong understanding of UK labor laws and compliance requirements  
  • Proficient in dealing with a variety of Employee Relation Matters  
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR policies, practices and processes   
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills   
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and influence stakeholders at all levels  
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office tools, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint  
  • Previous experience with start-ups, scale-ups, acquisitions, and restructuring businesses.  


Preferred Qualifications  

  • Prior experience in HR in a SaaS/Technology company  
  • Experience in a global organization or matrix environment  
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment while managing multiple evolving priorities effectively
