Overview

:

The Sr Training Coordinator – RCM will be responsible for organizing and conducting training programs for the RCM department, including but not limited to accounts receivable, registration, cash management, customer service, and new hire onboarding and training. This role will conduct and organize training for administrative functions and utilization of system applications such as athenaIDX, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc. This role also assists with specific process improvement initiatives within the RCM department that will drive both system and personnel efficiency. The Sr Training Coordinator – RCM will work closely with the quality assurance (QA) and operational teams to identify areas of opportunity.

At this time, US Anesthesia Partners does not hire candidates residing in California, Hawaii, or Alaska.

The base pay estimate for this role is $66,900 - $113,700 annually. The final offer will depend on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate. This range is for base pay only and does not include bonuses or other compensation. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Bonuses are not guaranteed and are awarded based on company and individual performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)

  • Develops and maintains course curriculum for all RCM functions, including but not limited to accounts receivable, registration, cash management, customer service, payer contract management, etc.
    • Pathways/job aids, playbooks, eLearning, and classroom presentation decks.
  • Collaborates with the Director - Training & Education to implement measures to ensure the effectiveness of training courses and curriculum.
  • Partners with the Director - Training & Education to implement measures to identify employee and process knowledge gaps and evaluate trainees for effectiveness of training.
  • Participates in and conducts company training programs.
  • Mentors new education and development team members and assists in their professional growth.
  • Works with leadership and other senior staff to address specific training needs.
  • Develops educational processes including creation of workshops, videos, and one-on-one training sessions.
  • Develops and organizes effective roll outs of new systems, processes, or system updates.
  • Manages incoming training requests from department leadership and coordinates with the team to ensure coverage and scheduling is aligned.
  • Creates, utilizes, and maintains checklists to ensure all training classes are prepared for excellence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Healthcare industry experience required; anesthesia experience preferred.
  • AthenaIDX experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of RCM for physician practices is preferred.
  • 10+ years of individual and team training experience preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in creation of training materials or e-learning modules and curriculum, and instructional design preferred.
  • Experience managing curriculum development or e-learning development projects.
  • Ability to appropriately and effectively communicate and maintain the integrity of sensitive, detailed information pertaining to employee training.
  • Ability to assess needs related to department practices, procedures, and computer systems, and produce training programs and materials to target these needs.
  • Leadership skills to effectively direct trainees and other department professionals while in a training class environment and the ability to properly evaluate comprehension and application of subject material.
  • Ability to exhibit leadership in completing abstract projects, including owning all aspects of the project, coaching contributors to the project, and proactively ensuring project success.
  • Possess initiative, motivation, creativity, and the ability to understand many areas of expertise.
  • Ability to react positively to developments and help lead the way forward to include new developments in training targeted at both new and existing employees.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for development, implementation, and maintenance of documentation.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Skilled utilization with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), Teams, and Visio.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Some travel may be required.
