About Allied Components International

Allied Components is a leading manufacturer and distributor of custom and standard magnetic components - including inductors, power chokes, RJ45 connectors, and transformers. We're committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to customers worldwide, and as we scale, we're expanding our product offerings and market reach — creating new opportunities for growth.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth by expanding existing customer accounts and actively converting new sales prospects. You'll work closely with the Sales Manager to identify new project design-in opportunities, cross -selling complementary components, develop relationships with customers, and manage the end-to-end sales pipeline.

Additionally, this role directly supports in expanding Allied’s portfolio into new product categories, leveraging customer feedback and demand to broaden our component offerings.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is proactive, results-driven, and eager to build a career in B2B sales — someone with a strong sales mindset who enjoys working with customers and is skilled at managing multiple accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting —identify and qualify potential customers through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, and CRM follow-ups.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Building — develop strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring needs are met and long-term partnerships are built.
  • Sales Pipeline Management — manage and track opportunities in the CRM (HubSpot, QuickBooks, or similar) to drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Quoting & Negotiation — prepare quotes, respond to pricing requests, and negotiate terms to maximize deal closure rates while optimizing gross profit margins and account profitability.
  • Product Knowledge & Sales Presentations — understand Allied's product offerings and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Account Expansion: Proactively grow existing accounts by identifying new project builds, cross-selling complementary components and securing design-in opportunities.
  • Product Category Expansion: Supports the Sales Manager in expanding Allied’s portfolio into new product lines.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer service, preferably in the electronics or industrial components industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage engineers, buyers and decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to grow existing accounts and generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals.
  • Experience using CRM and sales automation tools (HubSpot, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, with a strong desire to hit and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote sales team while maintaining a high level of independence.
  • Bonus: Experience in selling electronic components or technical products/services within the electronic/industrial distribution channel.

Your First 90 Days

First 30 Days : Complete onboarding and product training; learn Allied's catalog, pricing structure, and CRM workflow; begin shadowing calls and reviewing the existing account book.

First 60 Days: Independently manage an initial book of accounts and outbound prospecting; build a qualified pipeline in the CRM; deliver your first quotes and negotiations with support from the Sales Manager.

First 90 Days : Operate independently across the full sales cycle — prospecting through close; consistently manage and grow your account portfolio; contribute to identifying opportunities for Allied’s product expansion

Why Join Allied?

  • Fully Remote — work from anywhere while driving real results.
  • Career Growth —opportunity to build and lead a growing sales team while shaping the future of the company.
