In this role, you will apply your expertise both regionally and globally in a dynamic environment. This role will specifically focus on refreshing a holistic on-boarding approach for all new hires who join Akamai.

As a Global Talent Development Specialist II, you will be responsible for::

• Identifying, diagnosing, and analyzing developmental needs while partnering with stakeholders to design and execute impactful learning solutions
• Assessing organizational onboarding using targeted surveys and stakeholder feedback to uncover pain points and key improvement opportunities..
• Creating and maintaining current training materials, documentation, and learning resources to ensure accuracy while supporting team growth.
• Hosting and moderating engaging global live sessions, including new hire orientation programs, for dynamic internal corporate audiences.
• Liaising with Global Talent Development, HRBPs, and regional HR Ops to ensure solution delivery meets stakeholder needs.
• Delivering regular reporting, measuring and tracking effectiveness of engagements
• Benchmarking industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement using learning impact tools such as Performative.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Have 5+ years of relevant experience and education in the HR/learning and talent development space
• Able to program manage end-to-end learning initiatives and programs
• Demonstrate excellent understanding of Microsoft and Google suite
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization
• Be Comfortable with learning content design and best-practice L&D methodologies
• Be Comfortability with AI platforms such as Claude, Gemini, etc.
• Able to influence in a diverse, global workforce through collaborative communication and consultative approach across all levels
