HR Support Associate
Job Overview
Our client is looking for an organized and detail-oriented HR Support Associate to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources team.
The role will primarily focus on HR administration, employee data management, new hire onboarding, and pre-payroll administrative support. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate employee information, complete HR system updates, monitor onboarding requirements, follow established processes and checklists, and ensure HR-related updates are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate will have prior HR or HR administrative experience and be comfortable handling detail-oriented, recurring HR processes.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team.
- Support new hire onboarding activities, including setting up employees in HR systems, monitoring required tasks and documentation, and following up on outstanding requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information, records, and HR documentation.
- Process approved employee changes and employee status updates in HR systems.
- Support employee offboarding and other employee lifecycle administrative activities.
- Prepare routine HR documents using established templates.
- Complete recurring HR tasks and checklists accurately and on time.
- Follow up with employees and relevant stakeholders regarding missing information, outstanding requirements, and incomplete HR tasks.
- Provide administrative support for HR activities that take place before payroll processing, including employee changes, data entry, information review, and data verification.
- Pull historical employee or payroll-related information from HR/payroll systems when needed.
- Work with HR systems such as Rippling and payroll systems such as Paychex to maintain employee information and support HR processes.
- Follow established HR system workflows and procedures.
- Escalate questions, discrepancies, or exceptions to the appropriate HR team member.
- Maintain organized onboarding records and status updates.
- Handle confidential employee information appropriately.
- Take on additional HR administrative responsibilities as familiarity with the role and team processes grows.
Qualifications
- 2 years of prior HR or HR administrative experience.
- Experience supporting employee onboarding is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate employee information.
- Highly organized with reliable follow-through.
- Comfortable managing recurring HR tasks, checklists, and deadlines.
- Ability to follow established HR processes and identify when information is incomplete or incorrect.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Comfortable learning and working with HRIS or employee management systems.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information appropriately.
- Ability to work independently once trained.
