Open Mind Health (OMH) is expanding and actively recruiting fully licensed California therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist [PsyD/PhD]) to provide virtual mental health care as 1099 independent contractors.

This is a 100% remote telehealth opportunity offering $70–$80/hour, flexible scheduling, and a minimum commitment of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability.

Please note: Applicants must hold an active, unrestricted California license. We are not currently accepting associate-level applicants for this role.

What You'll Do

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to clients through our telehealth platform
• Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-guided, culturally responsive, client-centered care
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the broader care team as appropriate
• Practice within applicable professional, licensing, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist [PsyD/PhD])
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based care
• Comfortable using technology and telehealth platforms
• Passion for providing culturally responsive, client-centered care
• Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability

Preferred Qualifications

• Telehealth experience
• Licensure in multiple states
• Membership in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or PSYPACT compacts
• Additional language proficiency (Spanish is highly desirable)
• Experience working with diverse or underserved populations

Compensation & Engagement Type

• $70–$80/hour
• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Compensation within the posted range is based on relevant clinical expertise, years of experience, and licensure.
