Position Summary
This program is a 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Additionally, successful interns are strongly positioned for consideration for future full-time opportunities with CVS Health, including the General Management Development Program.
The Summer 2027 program will run May 24th – August 6th 2027 (subject to change)
This is a hybrid position with 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in one of the following office locations based on your preference: Hartford, CT, Woonsocket, RI, or Dallas, TX. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. Relocation stipends will be provided to qualifying interns and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired.
The hourly rate is $26/hr with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.

Our summer internship roles will vary based on the team you are assigned to work with. Our internship roles provide you with real work experience within the general management function. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities.
Examples of past internship projects include:
Supported Aetna national value-based contracting by assisting in market evaluation, contract negotiation, performance analysis, and operational issue resolution. Led internal process improvement initiatives and contributed to data reporting efforts.
Supported portfolio and roadmap management, governance, and performance reporting to help leaders make clear, timely decisions. Assisted in the development and maintenance of strategy and roadmaps, coached and tracked Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and surface cross-portfolio dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
Gained high visibility and hands‑on exposure to enterprise strategy, cross‑business integration, consumer engagement, and operational improvement, partnering closely with leaders across CVS, Signify, and Oak Street Health (OSH). Assumed ownership over the day-to-day management of the Signify/CVS/OSH partnership. Focused on developing the current state assessment and strategic roadmap to increase the channel’s conversion to be more aligned with other growth channels.
Evaluated sales trends and merchandising strategies for the Women’s Health & Wellness category across 7,000+ stores. Presented findings to senior leadership and recommended solutions to improve customer experience and drive market share growth.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
Required Qualifications
Meet educational requirements (see education section)
Have a willingness to relocate to the office locations listed above
Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
Preferred Qualifications
Be outcomes-focused and a collaborative team member
Have internship or work experience in related fields such as business or healthcare
Have an interest in applying for our full-time General Management Development Program within CVS Health upon graduation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (e.g., basic formulas, data organization) and PowerPoint (e.g., creating and editing professional presentations)
Education
Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree
Have an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028
Have a major in one of the following fields: business, management, healthcare management, finance, accounting, economics, public health, health sciences, leadership studies, marketing, human resources, communications, or psychology
