The BI Developer has the responsibility of playing a critical role in building complex reports and dashboards, training business users, and transforming data into actionable insights for our internal and external customers. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and the analytics team to design and develop scalable reporting solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following.  Other duties may also be assigned.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Sigma Computing and Snowflake.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Design and support data models while collaborating with architects and data engineers to ensure reliable data integration and reporting performance.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across reporting assets and analytical solutions.
  • Analyze data and deliver actionable insights and recommendations that support business decision-making.
  • Create technical documentation and provide consultative support for reporting, analytics, and broader business intelligence initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large, complex datasets and data structures.
  • Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Sigma Computing (REQUIRED); experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, cloud data platforms (Azure preferred), and data analytics tools or scripting languages such as Python or R.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; healthcare data experience and Agile environment experience preferred.
