Job Description

We are seeking a Power BI Developer with Microsoft Fabric experience to support our D365 Finance & Operations ERP program. This role focuses on delivering trusted, scalable, and governed analytics across Finance, Supply Chain, and operational domains, working closely with ERP, data, and business teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:

  • Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand their data needs and tailor BI solutions accordingly
  • Design and deliver Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models aligned to D365 F&O.
  • Build standardized, reusable datasets to support enterprise and self-service reporting.
  • Maintain and support existing BI solutions, troubleshooting performance issues and ensuring data accuracy
  • Develop ERP analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Dataflows).
  • Source and model data from D365 F&O (data entities, BYOD, Synapse Link, or Fabric connectors).
  • Translate ERP business processes into clear KPIs and executive-ready insights.
  • Implement security (RLS/OLS), certification, and governance standards aligned to the ERP CoE.
  • Support ERP releases, UAT, and post–go-live stabilization from a reporting perspective.
  • Partner with functional, data, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Document the processes used and the methodologies implemented
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of Power BI development experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and dimensional data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience reporting on D365 Finance & Operations data.
  • Solid understanding of ERP finance and operational reporting concepts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting D365 ERP implementations or rollouts.
  • Familiarity with Azure Synapse, SQL, or Spark.
  • Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines and CI/CD.
