Job description

About the Role

This role sits at the technical intersection of product and customer deployments for a fast-growing AI voice communication platform serving SMEs. You'll own end-to-end production rollouts — from requirements capture through integrations, glue code, and monitoring — and keep a tight feedback loop back into the product team. It's a high-impact position in a small, high-velocity team where your work directly shapes how real customers experience the product every day.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the technical bridge between product and customer setups, translating requirements into robust, production-ready implementations.

  • Lead rollouts of AI assistant configurations in production, including workflows, logic, data flows, prompts, and guardrails.

  • Implement integrations with third-party systems via APIs, webhooks, and common services (CRM, calendar, ticketing, payments).

  • Develop small-to-medium features and glue code to map customer use cases to production systems, with tests, monitoring, and logging.

  • Debug live issues across calls, flows, and data pipelines, deploying rapid fixes under production conditions.

  • Build reusable templates, deployment playbooks, and best practices to make setups scalable and repeatable.

  • Surface pain points, feature gaps, and recurring patterns to the product team with concrete recommendations.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on deployment engineering experience delivering production AI integrations and automation workflows.

  • Deep familiarity with LLM-based systems — prompting, tool use, RAG/knowledge retrieval, evaluation, and failure-mode handling.

  • Proven experience owning end-to-end deployments in production environments.

  • Solid coding skills (TypeScript or Python a strong plus) with experience writing tests, monitoring, and logging.

  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and webhooks, including common auth patterns (OAuth, API keys) and data formats.

  • Workflow-oriented thinking: ability to translate complex business processes into robust, testable AI-driven flows.

  • Cloud fundamentals: deployments, observability, and production debugging.

  • Native or fluent German and fluent English are required — you'll work directly with German-speaking customers and teammates.

  • Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset; comfortable shipping fast and iterating.

  • Bonus: voice/telephony integrations, n8n or similar automation tooling, SQL, or GDPR/Privacy-by-Design awareness.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: €60,000 – €90,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
