About The Role:


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Academic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the academic sector. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in academic institutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential academic clients and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers in universities and colleges.
  • Present our products and services to academic institutions, highlighting their benefits and value.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted outreach strategies.
  • Track and report on sales activities and outcomes using CRM software.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to network and promote our offerings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the education sector or faith space
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 1+ years of sales, customer success, or higher education experience (BDR/SDR experience a plus)
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a goal-driven environment
  • Passion for theological education and the mission of equipping future church leaders
  • Understanding of the academic landscape within theological institutions is a strong plus

The U.S. base hourly salary for this full-time position ranges from $28 - $30 per hour + annual performance bonus. Logos salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on each remote job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.


Note: Currently, we are able to hire in every state in the United States except for the District Of Columbia.
