Linguistic Analyst – AI Language Training Project (Remote | US/Canada)

We are looking for experienced linguists to support an AI language training initiative focused on improving smart text features for a leading technology product. This is a remote, client-integrated role requiring strong language expertise, analytical skills, and professional communication.

About the Role

You will work directly with Product, Engineering, and Research teams, contributing to dataset evaluation, linguistic analysis, and quality validation. Given the collaborative and client-facing nature of this role, strong soft skills are just as important as linguistic expertise.

Requirements

• Native or bilingual proficiency in English and the target language (speaking, writing, and comprehension)
• Ability to explain complex linguistic concepts clearly to non-linguist audiences
• Strong analytical and data validation skills — ability to identify patterns and errors at both a detailed and high level
• Ability to shift between a technical linguistic perspective and an end-user perspective
• Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Proactive communication style, especially regarding workload and constraints
• Comfortable in client-facing settings with camera on during scheduled meetings
• Experience in prompt engineering is a plus (training will be provided)

Engagement Details

• Location: Remote — United States or Canada only
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (non-negotiable)
• Mandatory daily meetings: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST
• Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
• Start: Immediately upon selection
