  • Conducting face-to-face meetings with key decision makers in the target market to uncover needs, address barriers to treatment, and create community partnerships
  • Planning and attending facility tours, professional weekends, and other events for decision makers in the target market, and conferences/networking events on behalf of Newport Healthcare

Job description

What You’ll Do:

The Clinical Outreach Specialist serves as a trusted and reliable resource for adolescent and young adult behavioral healthcare in their community. In this role, you’ll identify market strategy, build and deepen professional relationships, and optimize potential opportunities to increase Newport Healthcare’s reach. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Responding immediately to service and referral inquiries and supporting the referring professional and the family, from the first call through admission, ensuring communication and care coordination
  • Identify and prospect new accounts within the healthcare sector to build relationships with medical professionals, increase awareness of the organization’s services and generate new business opportunities.
  • Conducting face-to-face meetings with key decision makers in the target market to uncover needs, address barriers to treatment, and create community partnerships
  • Planning and attending facility tours, professional weekends, and other events for decision makers in the target market, and conferences/networking events on behalf of Newport Healthcare
  • Collaborating with our national team of Clinical Outreach Specialists, including participating in weekly team calls and quarterly field rides
What Makes You a Great Fit:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or closely related field OR minimum two (2) years of direct experience in a behavioral health setting/ pharmaceutical sales
  • Experience with communication principles, practices, and techniques applicable to a healthcare environment
  • Extensive experience in creating, maintaining, and delivering marketing strategies to meet objectives
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer experience
  • Living in or close enough to your designated territory so you can meet the requirement of visiting your assigned locations on a prompt and regular basis
