Job Summary

The Commercial Banking Analyst reports to the Market Executive and will play an important role assisting senior bankers and management with information management and content creation that supports the business’ strategic objectives. This role uses independent judgement in the design and creation of effective materials and reporting that will express initiatives and vision of the business. The role requires support for complex projects that may involve adhering to tight deadlines.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and manages projects for bankers and the leadership team.  This involves independently translating directions to executable plans, and problem solving with other team members and partners to achieve stated outcomes, conducting research and analysis as needed to inform the project, and ensuring projects are brought to closure.
  • Creates content to support executive presentations, board materials, leadership routines, town halls, and other forums. Content may take the form of presentations, agendas, executive summary and action items, spreadsheets, or other.  Maintain Teams / SharePoint site and content.      
  • Supports and contributes to the development of the business’ strategy, strategic plan, and related strategic initiatives.
  • Analyzes data and makes recommendations based on the results to discern insights and support decision making.
  • Support other members of the business with special projects, content creation, analysis, and research, as required.         

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum experience required: Entry level; internships in the financial industry preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to create executive level presentations.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management knowledge and/or experience.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management.
  • Ability to rotate across multiple projects / tasks, prioritizing appropriately.

Pay Range

$52,570.50 - $86,911.00
