Job description

Description

This position is remote, however the successful candidate will reside in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Texas.

About the Role

Clearwave Fiber is undertaking a full brand refresh and website transformation, including a ground-up rebuild of the new company website with an integrated eCommerce platform. We're hiring a Web Developer to sit on the Enterprise Applications & Systems team and serve as the primary technical owner of this transformation — from the initial site reskin through full eCommerce launch. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who wants to own a website end-to-end, work closely with design and marketing partners, and help launch a new commerce experience for customers.

What You'll Do

  •  Lead the ground-up build of the new company website
  •  Implement the website design delivered by our design agency partner
  •  Own all website code changes, optimizations, and technical implementation for the new site and its integrated eCommerce platform
  •  Provide ongoing technical support of the eCommerce platform post-launch, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and feature enhancements
  •  Partner with the Marketing team to translate design and content requirements into working, on-brand website solutions
  •  Coordinate with the Enterprise Applications & Systems team on change requests that require alignment with our billing/CRM system or integrations with other business systems
  •  Participate in QA and testing cycles ahead of go-live, including validation across content, functionality, and commerce workflows
Requirements

What We're Looking For

  •  Hands-on experience building and maintaining custom, enterprise-scale websites on WordPress, including theme customization and page building
  •  Experience implementing designs from Figma (or similar design tools) into pixel-accurate, responsive web pages
  •  Familiarity with eCommerce platform integrations
  •  Expert level knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, along with common web performance and SEO best practices
  •  Experience with version control, multi-environment webops platforms, and change managed release cycles
  •  Comfort working with APIs and system integrations, ideally including CRM and marketing automation platforms
  •  Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with Marketing, external agencies, and Enterprise Applications stakeholders
  •  Self-starter who can manage a project independently, including day-to-day prioritization against a defined milestone plan

Nice to Have

  •  Prior experience supporting a website migration, rebrand, or full replatform
  •  Experience in telecom, subscription, or subscriber-based business models
  •  Familiarity with Salesforce or MBS-style subscriber management/billing systems

Why This Role

You'll be the dedicated technical owner of a company-defining website relaunch — with direct visibility to Enterprise Applications leadership, close collaboration with Marketing and our design partner, and a clear runway from full eCommerce launch to ongoing continuous optimization. This is a build-it-and-own-it opportunity, not a maintenance role.
