  • Partner with Regional Technical Managers and regulatory stakeholders to provide biological data expertise, ensure regulatory readiness, and support successful product development

We are looking for a Development Data & Biological Assessment Specialist (m/f/d) (Europe remote)

In this role as a Development Data & Biological Assessment Specialist, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven product development by managing high-quality biological data, coordinating cross-functional development activities, and supporting regulatory compliance. You will ensure the accurate collection, analysis, and maintenance of biological data while contributing to the preparation and delivery of Biological Assessment Dossiers (BADs) throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive data excellence the quality, integrity, validation, and accessibility of biological development data by performing data quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and managing biological trial data from multiple sources.
  • Prepare, analyse, and present biological data to support seasonal results reviews, BAD preparation, and data-driven decision-making throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Lead and coordinate BAD) activities from project initiation through submission, monitoring timelines, deliverables, data readiness, and proactively identifying risks and mitigation actions.
  • Partner with Regional Technical Managers, regulatory stakeholders to provide biological data expertise, ensure regulatory readiness, and support successful product development.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and the standardization of biological data management practices.
  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance project tracking, improve data accessibility, and support operational excellence.

Your qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Crop Science, Biology, Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in biological data management, R&D data support within crop science, BAD preparation, and project coordination in multidisciplinary, global teams.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools to support decision-making, with experience in data management systems and knowledge of data quality and governance principles.
  • Working knowledge of plant protection regulations, registration requirements, or biological dossier preparation, with SQL and/or Power BI experience considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with an understanding of project management principles and tools.
  • Interest in AI, automation, digital innovation, and continuous process improvement, supported by excellent communication and collaboration skills.
