We are seeking an experienced Endur DevOps Engineer to support, maintain and modernise enterprise-grade Openlink Endur platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role combines hands-on Endur infrastructure administration with Azure cloud engineering, CI/CD automation,release management, observability and production support.
The successful candidate will work with Endur development, database, cloud platform, networking, security and support teams to deliver reliable, secure and repeatable environments across development, test, UAT and production.
Key Responsibilities
Endur Platform and Environment Management
- Install, configure, administer and maintain Endur application and database environments.
- Manage environment provisioning, cloning, refreshes and configuration consistency across development, test, UAT and production.
- Support Endur upgrades, patches, reference data loads, licence configuration and technicalpre-checks.
- Operate and troubleshoot Endur services and dependencies, including AppServer, APM, JVS,Schedulers, database and Citrix components.
- Analyse Endur logs, database connectivity issues, memory or cache problems, service failures and environment-specific defects.
- Plan service restarts and technical changes with awareness of business hours, batchwindows, active processing and end-of-day operations.
Build, Release and Deployment Engineering
- Build and maintain controlled promotion processes from development through UAT toproduction.
- Automate deployment of Endur custom code and configuration, including Java, OpenJVS, OC,JAR and DLL artifacts.
- Manage release packaging, deployment paths, service restart dependencies, rollback planning and production validation.
- Investigate deployment differences such as missing artifacts, configuration, permissions,reference data or database dependencies.
- Improve deployment reliability, traceability and repeatability while reducing manual intervention.
Azure Cloud Platform Engineering
- Support, maintain and enhance Azure cloud platforms and services used by Endur and supporting applications.
- Manage Azure App Services, Oracle Database (Iaas), Storage Accounts, Key Vault, App Registrations, Application Insights and Azure Monitor.
- Support Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus and Event Grid where used by the solution.
- Monitor platform health, performance, security, availability and cost, and drive practical remediation actions.
- Apply security, compliance, access-control and operational excellence principles across Azure environments.
CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and Automation
- Design, build and maintain multi-environment Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for application,database and infrastructure deployments.
- Provision and manage Azure resources using Terraform, Bicep, with ARM Templates where required.
- Maintain reusable deployment modules, parameterisation, environment controls and release governance.
- Use Git repositories, source-control standards, branching strategies, pull requests and enterprise DevOps workflows.
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI or Python.
Networking, Database and Data Platform Support
- Troubleshoot Azure Virtual Networks, private endpoints, network security groups, DNS and service connectivity.
- Support Oracle deployment automation, environment refreshes, migrations, monitoring and performance optimisation in collaboration with database administrators.
- Support Microsoft Fabric workspace administration, deployment processes and integration with Azure services where required.
Observability and Production Operations
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and operational dashboards using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
- Provide production support, incident triage, root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions.
- Maintain technical runbooks, deployment records, operational documentation and support handover material.
- Collaborate within Agile delivery teams to improve automation, reliability and operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
Skill Area

- Azure DevOps
- Proven Azure DevOps YAML pipeline experience across multiple environments, includingbuild, release, deployment controls and troubleshooting.
- Infrastructure as Code
- Experience provisioning Azure resources using Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates. Bicep ispreferred.
- Azure networking
- Strong understanding of Virtual Networks, private endpoints, network security groups, DNSand connectivity troubleshooting.
- Observability
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, alerting and operationaldiagnostics.
- Automation
- Scripting experience using PowerShell, Azure CLI or Python.
- Source control
- Experience with Git repositories, branching strategies, pull requests and enterprise DevOpsworkflows.
- Operations
- Experience supporting production-critical systems, incident resolution, root cause analysis,release governance and change controls.
