Job Summary  

As a Manager within our Facility and Capital Planning team, you will lead complex consulting engagements that help hospitals and health systems evaluate market opportunities, align facilities with strategic goals, and plan for future growth. You will oversee project teams, build strong client relationships, mentor associates, and contribute to expanding the practice through business development and thought leadership.

  • Lead facility and capital planning engagements for hospitals and health systems from project initiation through final delivery.
  • Direct the analysis and interpretation of complex market, operational, financial, and demographic data to identify strategic opportunities and priorities.
  • Oversee the development and review of market studies, facility planning assessments, demand forecasts, and financial models.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to executive leadership teams and governing boards.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and client-facing materials.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor throughout engagements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop consultants and senior consultants through coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying client needs, contributing to proposals, participating in sales meetings, and helping grow the Facility and Capital Planning practice.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Business, Health Sciences, Data Analytics, or a related field; MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare strategy, facility planning, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex consulting engagements, managing client relationships, and overseeing project teams.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience delivering recommendations to executive and board-level stakeholders.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $80,000 to $108,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws. 

 

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
