Job Title: QA Analyst
Location: Remote
Job type: Contract

Job Summary:
  • The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for writing, executing, and maintaining test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Case Development: Develop comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and specifications, ensuring coverage of all functional and non-functional aspects of the software application.
  • Test Execution: Execute test cases to identify defects or issues in the software, ensuring that all components and functionalities are thoroughly tested.
  • Defect Reporting and Tracking: Document and report any defects or issues found during testing in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate defect tracking tools. Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
  • Test Documentation: Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test plans, and test results, ensuring compliance with project standards.
  • Test Environment Setup: Test data preparation and test environment validation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure a common understanding of project requirements and deliverables. Communicate test progress, test results, and any potential risks or issues to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Contribute to the enhancement of the overall quality assurance process within the project.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (HR), Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, preferably on software development or HR projects.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools and test management systems.
  • Familiarity with different types of testing, such as functional, regression, performance, and usability.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Workforce solution for Time & Leave Management, and ALMQC a plus.
  • Familiarity with HR Systems a plus.
