Position Summary


Medication Therapy Management supports the company vision to help people on their path to better health by performing MTM for members at the highest-risk of having medication related problems. The team of pharmacists, technicians, and coordinators work together to identify problems and coordinate care to facilitate resolution to ensure the member is on an optimized medication regimen to help them reach their health-related goals. The staff is trained to use the innovative skill of behavioral modification and interviewing, which is a key driver to positively impact member health outcomes. The role of the Clinical Coordinator II on the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) team is to provide call center support to the clinical pharmacist through organized, accurate, and timely prioritization of administrative duties.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the completion of daily tasks and assignments that facilitate the successful planning, execution, and completion of clinical trials.

  • Contributes to the development and implementation of operational strategies that focus on optimizing clinical trial processes, timelines, and resources.

  • Performs quality reviews of clinical research guidelines, tools, and templates to ensure compliance with the company's regulatory, safety, quality, and confidentiality protocols and standards.

  • Provides insight into the development of risk management strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues that may impact trial timelines, data quality, or patient safety.

  • Defines quality assurance processes and control measures to help ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy of clinical trial data.

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements within clinical trial operations and recommends methods for improving trial outcomes.

  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including investigators, study coordinators, regulatory agencies, and ethics committees throughout assigned clinical trial lifecycles.

  • Ensures departmental adherence to external protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines throughout clinical trials and related operations.

  • Provides guidance and support to the clinical operations team by mentoring team members, ensuring effective performance, driving professional development, and promoting a positive work environment.



Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a call center environment

  • Experience maintaining focus and meeting goals in a work from home environment.

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

  • Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills

  • Acts with integrity and uses sound judgment in dealing with confidential information

  • Licensed Pharmacy Tech preferred

  • Familiarity with prescription medications preferred

  • 7 Months with the MTM Ops department and Meets Expectations in all core metrics.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacy Tech preferred

  • Familiarity with prescription medications

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $25.65

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
