Business Development Executive (Freshers)

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and purpose-driven individuals who are passionate about the social sector and interested in building a career in B2B business development and sales. This role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of corporate partnerships, CSR, sustainability, and social impact consulting while gaining hands-on exposure to client acquisition, relationship building, lead generation, and business growth.

Probation: 3 months

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential corporate clients, CSR teams, foundations, and development organizations.
  
• Build, manage, and continuously develop a pipeline of prospective B2B clients and partnership opportunities.
  
• Conduct market research on CSR trends, ESG initiatives, sustainability, and social impact investments to identify business opportunities.
  
• Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into client meetings and business opportunities.
  
• Work towards defined business development and sales targets, including lead generation, outreach, meetings, conversions, and pipeline growth.
  
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate and institutional stakeholders.
  
• Assist in preparing proposals, capability decks, presentations, and other business development documents.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand service offerings and align them with client requirements.
  
• Track leads, maintain accurate CRM records, monitor the sales pipeline, and prepare business development reports.
  
• Support partnership meetings, client discussions, stakeholder engagement, negotiations, and follow-up activities.
  
• Follow up consistently with prospective and existing clients to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  
• Stay updated on government policies, CSR regulations, and developments in the social impact ecosystem to identify relevant opportunities.

• Passionate about creating social impact while contributing to organizational growth and revenue generation.
  
• Comfortable interacting with corporate stakeholders and building professional relationships.
  
• Demonstrates a proactive and target-oriented approach to business development. Comfortable with outreach, lead generation, follow-ups, and converting prospects into business opportunities.
  
• Willing to learn B2B sales, business development, and consulting within the social impact ecosystem.

Requirements

• Recently completed a Master's degree in any discipline.
  
• Strong interest in B2B business development, sales, partnerships, corporate engagement, or CSR consulting.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
  
• Self-motivated, proactive, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
  
• Willingness to engage with corporate stakeholders and undertake consistent client outreach.
