Our Enterprise Security Group is responsible for devleoping and eslling Enterprise Access, Microsegmentation, and Interaction Security (Akamai Workforce Protector, Formerly LayerX products, while helping customers stafely adpot AI and SaaS by closing the visibility and control gaps that traditional network and endpoint security leave behind. Our goal is to navigate an evolution within customers to a more secure, dynamic and agile infrastructure. Collaborating with our enterprise sales, other internal teams and external partners is key.

As a Senior Enterprise Security Architect, you will sit at the heart of the sales process. You will be the technical evangelist supporting customers with the adoption of our products and services. You'll play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of our solutions, helping to close the sale.

As a Senior Enterprise Security Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Owning, shaping, and running proof-of-concepts, beta programs, and pre-sales activities with customers and partner teams
• Diving into enterprise architecture discovery and hands-on software configuration
• Strategizing with and assisting customers as they move to more agile, secure, identity centric security models
• Taking a consultative approach to solutions and solving challenges around next generation security transformation
• Educating and enabling internal teams and partners regarding our Enterprise solution portfolios to motivate effective sales strategies
• Influencing product roadmaps and ensuring the inclusion of business priorities and requirements of customers

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be able to effectively present complex, technical material to varying audiences (CISO through SOC/security architect) in Japanese and English (intermediate)
• Have knowledge of network security, SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, endpoint protection, firewalls, and general cybersecurity concepts
• Have expertise with Zero Trust concepts and technologies such as SASE/SSE, ZTNA, and Microsegmentation
• Understand the interaction security / AI governance landscape - GenAI DLP, shadow AI discover, AI access control, and how it differs from network-layer controls (SSE/SASE), endpoint DLP, and legacy enterprise browsers. 
• Have working familiarity with how browser extensions work (permissions model, manifest/content-script architecture, how extensions read and act on page content)
• Have a good understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and cloud-native technologies (microservices, Kubernetes)
