Job description

About the Role

Maleda Tech is hiring an experienced Program Coordinator to support a fast-moving public policy and campaigns team at a leading technology company. The team works to advance fair, forward-looking policy by engaging directly with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders at the local, state, provincial, and national levels across North America.

This is an ideal role for someone who is meticulously organized and detail-oriented but never loses sight of the big picture. You know how to prioritize under pressure, find the most efficient path to a goal, and translate big ideas into concrete actions. You're a collaborative team player who's comfortable jumping into projects large and small, working across functions, cultures, and time zones, and quickly navigating (and improving) unfamiliar systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor registration and onboarding; track vendor status and help resolve issues as they arise.
  • Process vendor payments, including collecting tax documentation, invoices, and other required payment information.
  • Keep vendors and internal stakeholders updated on payment and contract status, and maintain accurate payment records and budget information.
  • Build strong vendor and internal relationships and maintain clear, effective communication channels.
  • Support the Regional Program Coordinator on ad-hoc operations projects, such as offsite planning and virtual events.
  • Partner with teams across the organization as needed to keep initiatives moving.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, including supporting a team in an administrative capacity.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Sheets, Slides, and Docs.
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A process-oriented mindset, with a focus on efficiency that never sacrifices quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with leadership and collaborate across teams to deliver on shared priorities.
  • A track record of being reliable, prepared, responsive, and eager to learn.
  • Strong prioritization, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to stay poised under pressure.
  • Nice to have: experience on a political campaign or a public policy team.

Key Details

  • Start date: September 22, 2026
  • Duration: 12-month contract (through September 22, 2027)
  • Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite)
  • Schedule: Full-time β€” 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day
  • Pay range: $34.75 – $38.90 per hour
  • Employment type: Contract via Maleda Tech
