Job description

This is a fully remote role within the United States.

Are you ready to join an exciting health tech startup revolutionizing the healthcare industry? Turquoise Health is looking for a talented Contract Architect at Turquoise Health with deep SQL skills and passion for customer interaction, data-driven solutions, sales engineering, analytics and products that spark joy for users. You’ll query and analyze hospital and health system contract data to collaborate with the Product team to enhance our product suite and build features from the ground up. You will also be a trusted advisor to our customers, guiding them through the intricate world of healthcare pricing data. Your expertise in contract pricing mechanisms will help build machine readable files and empower customers to analyze the impact of contracting changes. You'll have the opportunity to create data-driven solutions, expand product adoption, and actively contribute to our data product roadmap. We’re looking for the right balance of big thinker, revenue cycle subject-matter expert and data analyst to push the bounds of what is possible within Turquoise’s product stack.


Responsibilities

  • Own the creation of machine-readable files for hospital and health system customers

  • Leverage your knowledge of contract pricing mechanisms to help customers analyze their payer-provider contracts and rates

  • Tackle critical business and infrastructure issues through ad-hoc analysis, insightful requests, and data extraction on behalf of customers

  • Provide comprehensive analytics support, empowering customers with self-service tools and resources to access data

  • Seek and prioritize technical feedback by engaging with customers

  • Undertake special projects from the Product, Sales or Customer Success teams to ideate on features, push forward active deals and strengthen customer relationships

  • Deepen your understanding of Turquoise’s product suite and customer use cases to find new opportunities for product builds

  • Be the go-to expert, partnering with customers to understand their data and reporting requirements, and effectively translating them to our engineering team

  • Work hand in hand with the Product Team, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers, ensuring customer feedback drives our product development

What you'll bring to the role

  • 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle or healthcare consulting in a technical/analytical role

  • In-depth knowledge of payer-provider contracting, reimbursement mechanisms, claims pricing, hospital revenue cycle and factors contributing to the cost of healthcare

  • Strong SQL skills are a must. Experience with other analytical languages and BI tools is a plus.

  • A high standard for quality assurance of your own work product and the work product of other members of the team

  • Your analytical, problem-solving, mathematical, and creative thinking skills will be instrumental in driving impactful solutions

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to work well both with internal stakeholders while also having the ability to create strong customer relationships

  • A drive to put out consistent high quality/accurate work at a fast pace

  • Communication and collaboration skills across seniority levels and functions.
