SAP Procurement and Inventory Consultant

Role purpose

The role is responsible for the functional support of S/4HANA business applications and for delivering functional solutions as part of ongoing projects. The main purpose of the role is to support international business locations operating on SAP S/4HANA as their ERP platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level SAP S/4HANA application support for international locations
  
• Manage incidents, problems, and change requests, ensuring timely and high-quality solutions
  
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
  
• Support SAP implementation projects, including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities
  
• Ensure stable business operations during critical activities and proactively identify improvement opportunities
  
• Collaborate with business teams, architects, developers, and external partners to deliver effective solutions
  
• Support and guide junior consultants by sharing knowledge and best practices
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP processes and support activities
  
• Occasionally travel internationally based on business needs
  

Requirements

What you’ll need

• 5–7 years of experience in SAP application management, support, or project environments
  
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC6 and/or SAP S/4HANA
  
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and related modules
  
• Experience with SAP configuration and troubleshooting
  
• Experience with SAP implementations and post-go-live support in an international environment
  
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a strong advantage
  
• Degree in IT, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  
• Knowledge of ITIL-based support processes is an advantage
  
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
  
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent English communication skills
