Job description

REGIONAL MANAGER – ATLANTIC CANADA

POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Manager develops and manages dealer partnerships within an assigned territory to increase qualified applications and originations. The role combines account development, dealer enrollment and training, performance analysis, market intelligence, and responsive issue resolution. Through regular in-person and remote engagement, the Regional Manager identifies dealer needs, recommends appropriate Rifco programs, and builds productive, mutually beneficial relationships while working within established policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications Required

 

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong consultative sales, relationship management, communication, negotiation, analytical, customer service, conflict-resolution, and time-management skills.
  • Previous sales, account management, automotive, and/or finance experience is an asset.
  • Microsoft office, Teams, basic computer skills, and ability to learn business technologies such as customer relationship management and sales systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including occasional travel or dealer functions outside regular business hours.



Key Responsibilities and Duties



  • In-person Dealer Interaction
    • Driving to dealer partner locations across the territory.
    • Speaking to the Financial Service Manager, Business Manager, General Manager, General Sales Manager, Dealer Principal and/or Owner.
    • Increase qualified applications and originations by developing existing dealer partnerships and prospective accounts.
    • Provide dealers with clear guidance on Rifco programs, policies, procedures, and application requirements to support compliant, efficient submissions.
    • Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships by understanding business needs, resolving concerns, following up on opportunities, and gaining commitment to Rifco programs.
  • Email/Phone Dealer Interactions: Maintain regular phone and email contact with dealer partners and prospects to provide training and support, follow up on commitments and opportunities, resolve issues, and increase account activity.

 

  • Market Intelligence, Feedback, and Data input
    • Maintain accurate and timely records of dealer interactions, market intelligence, commitments, and progress in the sales systems. Review dealer performance reports to identify trends, opportunities, and accounts requiring follow-up.

 

  • Administrative tasks
    • Coordinate with Sales Management, Dealer Services, Marketing, and other internal teams to support dealer inquiries, facilitate the application process, share market feedback, and maintain service levels.

 

  • Strategic/Tactical planning: Develop and execute territory strategies and account plans that prioritize dealer opportunities, support sales targets, and allocate time and resources effectively.
