About Us

Mint Source is a remote-first bridge that connects vibrant talent with international clients and agencies, enabling skilled individuals to showcase their expertise on a global stage.

Role Overview

Mint Source is recruiting a Performance Video Editor to join a London-based DTC skincare and haircare brand that sells botanical body oils, shower oils and hair growth kits directly to a customer base of 500,000+ worldwide. You will turn approved scripts, raw footage, UGC, product assets and references into launch-ready Meta and TikTok ads, then spin winning concepts into new variations so the team can test, learn and scale. You will report to the Paid Social Manager and work closely with Creative Strategists and the wider creative team, in a role split evenly between collaboration and independent editing. Success looks like a reliable weekly output of on-brief, ready-to-launch ads with minimal revisions, and a growing share of edits that hit the team's winner benchmark. This is one of five editor seats being filled for the same team, so you will join alongside peers doing the same work. The role is remote, with the option to work from the team's office in Islamabad, Pakistan, on the same UK hours.

What You'll Do

  • Edit high-volume, direct-response video ads, turning approved scripts, raw footage, UGC, product assets and references into scroll-stopping Meta and TikTok ready creatives.
  • Build strong first 1 to 3 second hooks, fast pacing, clear visual hierarchy, subtitles, pattern interrupts, product demonstration and compelling offer and CTA moments into every asset.
  • Work closely with Creative Strategists and the wider creative team to execute briefs accurately and contribute visual ideas where needed.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and ad-performance learnings.
  • Produce multiple variations of winning concepts, including new hooks, edits, angles, openings, pacing and visual treatments, so the team can test, learn and scale what performs.
  • Use and develop practical AI video-generation skills with tools like Runway, Higgsfield, Kling or Veo to create or enhance footage, product visuals, b-roll and content variations, while keeping video editing as your core specialty.
  • Add motion graphics in After Effects or an equivalent tool.
  • Keep assets, project files and feedback organised in Google Drive and Frame.io (or similar) so work is easy to find, review and reuse.

What We're Looking For

  • 1 to 3 years of e-commerce or direct-response paid-social editing experience, with a portfolio of ads made for conversion, not just polished organic content. The portfolio must clearly show your own editing work that you can explain, not videos assembled from templates.
  • A strong instinct for what stops the scroll: hooks, pacing, pattern interrupts, captions, sound design, product storytelling, visual proof and CTAs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro (or CapCut), plus After Effects or equivalent motion-graphics capability. Comfortable using Google Drive and Frame.io (or similar) for organised asset management, collaboration and feedback.
  • Hook-first, direct-response editing know-how for Meta and TikTok: rapid pacing, subtitles, pattern interrupts, visual proof and product demonstration, clear offers and CTAs, and the habit of building multiple testable variations from each concept.
  • Curiosity about AI video generation and a genuine willingness to build that skill on the job.
  • High output without the quality dropping. You can produce multiple variants from a single concept, act on feedback fast and stay sharp under pressure, with strong attention to detail throughout.
  • Strong written and spoken English, dependable and proactive communication, excellent file and project organisation, and the ability to work closely with a remote creative team. Energetic, highly motivated, and creative in how you solve problems.
  • Bonus points for: hands-on experience with AI video tools such as Runway, Higgsfield, Kling or Veo, especially if you can already produce realistic product scenes, UGC-style content or b-roll; a portfolio with demonstrable winning or scaled ads and the ability to explain the editing decisions behind them; experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, fashion or other visually driven DTC categories; strong motion design, compositing, 3D, VFX or sound-design skills that elevate ads without making them feel overproduced; and the habit of studying winning ads and thinking like a performance-creative partner rather than a task executor.
  • Shortlisted candidates will complete a short editing assessment.

Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Quality-adjusted creative output: consistently deliver the agreed number of finished ads and variants each week, on brief and ready to launch, with minimal avoidable revisions. The exact weekly volume is set after onboarding based on the team's asset needs.
  • Speed and reliability: meet agreed turnaround times, communicate blockers early and complete revision rounds quickly, with no missed deadlines, poor file organisation or quality drop-offs.
  • Creative contribution to performance: the percentage of launched edits that meet the team's "winner" benchmark, measured alongside the Strategist. You are accountable for execution quality and testable variations; performance is a shared outcome, not solely yours.
  • 30/60/90-day milestones:
    • First 30 days: learn the brand, creative standards, editing workflow, asset library and feedback process. Deliver initial ads and variations reliably, demonstrate strong direct-response editing judgment, and become comfortable using at least one approved AI-video workflow.
    • By 60 days: work independently across briefs with consistent turnaround times, low revision rates and dependable project and file organisation. Consistently produce high-quality variations, not just one-off edits, and contribute visual references or execution ideas during creative planning.
    • By 90 days: operate as a trusted performance editor at full agreed output. Your work regularly produces launch-ready ads that meet the team's quality bar, with a measurable share contributing to winning or scalable creative tests, and you use AI tools independently for suitable b-roll, visual enhancements and content variations.

What You Get

  • Competitive compensation discussed individually based on experience and location.
  • A remote role on UK hours with a London-based brand that ships worldwide, with the option of a desk in the Islamabad office if you prefer working on-site.
  • A 50/50 split between working with the creative team and independent editing, with regular, structured meetings and regularly scheduled feedback check-ins.
  • Room to grow your AI-video skills on real campaigns using the team's approved workflows.
