Our promotional features team is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer who can digs into every feature, builds their own risk-based test strategy, consults developers for context, and ultimately understands and stress-tests the product. To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, covering back-end and/or front-end systems;

  • Strong experience with test automation using Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or another programming language, together with relevant automation frameworks and libraries;

  • Experience with API and UI test automation using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, pytest, REST Assured, or similar;

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, test design techniques, and risk-based testing approaches;

  • Experience with Kubernetes, both manually and from a testing perspective;

  • Experience working with different data storages such as ClickHouse, MySQL, DynamoDB, or similar;

  • Hands-on experience with load and performance testing using tools such as k6, JMeter, Locust, or similar;

  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting;

  • Good understanding of HTTP(S), XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;

  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Would be beneficial to have:

  • Experience with Python and its testing ecosystem, including tools such as pytest, Playwright/Selenium, requests, SQLAlchemy, or similar;

  • Experience designing or developing test automation frameworks for functional and performance testing;

  • Experience working with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, or similar;

  • Previous experience in the iGaming industry.

What will you be doing?

  • Design, develop, and improve automation frameworks for functional and performance testing;

  • Analyze product and technical requirements and identify potential quality risks;

  • Build risk-based testing strategies for new features and changes;

  • Plan and prioritize testing activities together with the development team;

  • Develop and maintain automated API, UI, functional, and load tests;

  • Create positive, negative, boundary, and failure scenarios;

  • Support and improve existing automated test suites;

  • Collaborate closely with developers to understand implementation details, investigate issues, and improve testability;

  • Analyze test results, investigate failures, and help identify root causes;

  • Maintain relevant test documentation and continuously improve QA practices within the team.
