This is a founding engineering role at a Y Combinator–backed wearable startup, where you'll own the full electrical and board design for a consumer wearable device. Sitting at the heart of a small, fast-moving hardware team, you'll be the person who takes the electronics from early prototype to production-ready hardware — a high-impact position with real ownership as the company scales.
Own end-to-end electrical and PCB/board design for the wearable device.
Iterate rapidly through device revisions in response to testing, user feedback, and production requirements.
Drive consumer hardware from working prototype through to mass production.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in PCB/board design and embedded hardware.
A track record of shipping physical consumer electronics products end-to-end.
Strong background in sensor integration and consumer-grade hardware development.
Experience working in fast-paced, resource-constrained hardware environments.
Background from consumer electronics, wearables, or similar hardware-focused companies is a strong plus.
Salary of $150,000 USD annually, plus up to 1–2% equity as a founding team member. No new visa sponsorship — H-1B transfers are supported.
On-site in New York, United States (San Francisco also considered). This is an in-person role.
