The Opportunity

 

As part of our Global Payroll team, you will play a key role in strengthening governance, compliance, internal controls, and operational excellence across our global payroll organization.

In this position, you will support the development of a standardized and well-controlled payroll environment by driving governance initiatives, monitoring key performance indicators, managing compliance and audit activities, and partnering with stakeholders across Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, and external providers.

 

You will also contribute to our ongoing Global Payroll Transformation journey, helping shape future payroll processes, controls, and service delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Driving Payroll Governance, Compliance, and Internal Control initiatives across multiple countries.
  • Monitoring payroll risks, controls, audit findings, and remediation activities.
  • Defining, tracking, and reporting Global Payroll KPIs and operational performance metrics.
  • Supporting process standardization, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Contributing to internal and external audit activities and ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
  • Monitoring payroll vendor performance, service levels, and governance frameworks.
  • Developing dashboards, reports, and insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, Compliance, and external partners.
  • Supporting strategic projects and the ongoing Global Payroll Transformation program.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills

 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in Governance, Internal Controls, Process Management, Audit, Compliance, Shared Services, or similar functions.
  • Payroll experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in process governance, internal controls, risk management, and performance monitoring.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting, analytics, and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Structured and highly organized way of working.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across functions and regions.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a global perspective.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to turn data into meaningful business insights.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Availability for an immediate start.
