Intern – Patient Engagement Delivery

Duration:  8 months

Salary: €30,500

Location: Lilly GBS, Little Island Cork

Type: Hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to be on site 50% of the month in Little Island, Cork and 50% working remotely.

Course Eligibility: Bsc in business, Public health, BIS, Commerce, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences or Economics

We in the Patient Engagement Deliver Lead team are responsible for:

Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of PE Retention & Recruitment materials and activities. Managing all translation activities Supporting the execution of appreciation / retention items Managing all Ethics Review Board submissions Acting as the primary operational point of contact, ensuring timelines are met and materials are available in advance of First Patient Visit

Role Summary
Provide administrative and operational support to the Recruitment & Retention Delivery Leads, enabling the efficient, compliant, and timely delivery of multi-country patient engagement projects Recruitment & Retention materials within a global pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to Delivery Leads to allow them to:

  • maintain project plans, trackers, and dashboards to monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • coordinate multi-step workflows including translation, regulatory submission (IRB/ERB), proofing, and distribution
  • schedule meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and track actions across cross-functional teams
  • ensure accurate documentation, version control, and file management within systems such as SharePoint and eTMF
  • perform quality checks on materials to ensure completeness, consistency, and readiness for approval
  • track regulatory submissions and approval timelines, escalating delays or risks as needed
  • support the preparation of status updates and reports
  • Any Ad Hoc requests  

Requirements:

  • Studying a degree in Business, Public Health, BIS, Commerce, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences or Economics
  • Strong Microsoft Office & excel skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and quality control
  • Effective communication - Ability to both actively listen and effectively communicate
  • Candidate must be outgoing and work well as part of a team
