Job description

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a FSE with AWS Cloud Migration Engineer for their Remote location.
 
Requirements:
  • Technical expertise on AWS and Java needed.
  • Full stack engineer with expertise in Java, Oracle, Cloud & CI-CD. Responsible for migration of Java/Springboot services to new Cloud platform.
  • Experience in migrating the onpremises – Java, Unix scripts, Windows scripts, Stored Procedures to AWS Cloud EKS and EC2 instances.
  • Strong experience with AWS Cloud including EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, PostgreSQL and cloudnative application development and migration.
  • Expertise deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS), GitHub Actions, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in migrating GUI extensions to AWS cloud.
  • Responsible for design, development, and testing activities in core Facets Applications & using Java and SQL technologies.
  • Senior Developer or Tech Lead, will be required to do hands on development for AWS Cloud migration project
  • Proficient in using AI tools – Github Copilot, Claude etc.
  • In addition to hands on, willing to coordinate with offshore and drive the migration effort.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Years of Experience: 15.00 Years of Experience
  • Must Have's:
  • Java, Spring Boot, REST API, Angular, Kafka, Github Actions, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix
  • AWS Cloud Migration - EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch,
  • AI tools - Github Copilot, Claude
