AWS ECS Architect

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an AWS ECS Architect for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end AWS container strategy, infrastructure architecture, environment setup, and deployment.
• Design scalable and highly available microservices using Amazon ECS, Fargate, and Docker.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Enforce IAM, VPC security, and container vulnerability controls.
• Establish observability with Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Bedrock AgentCore, and Prometheus.
• Lead multi-cloud/hybrid integrations, cost optimization, and infrastructure deployment across higher environments.

• AWS ECS/Fargate/Docker architecture and container platform engineering
• Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD: Terraform, AWS CDK/CloudFormation, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps
• AWS networking, security, observability, and reliability: VPC, IAM, service discovery, load balancing, CloudWatch/X-Ray/Prometheus
• 15+ years in IT, including 7+ years in AWS cloud architecture and containerization.
• Key outcome: independently own the client landscape, create required setup requests, and lead end-to-end infrastructure setup and deployment in higher environments.
