We’re seeking a Video Editor & Content Specialist who can understand our brand, what we do, and our audience, and turn that understanding into engaging content. You’ll create and edit short- and long-form social media content, repurpose videos into engaging short-form content, and use captions, motion graphics, sound effects, on-brand content that drives engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Video Editor & Content Specialist, you will be responsible for editing high-quality video content across multiple formats and platforms. This is a hands-on production role focused on execution, creativity, and speed - not strategy.

You’ll work closely with our team to transform raw footage into polished, engaging content that aligns with brand guidelines and current content trends.

Your main responsibilities & experience:

• Short-Form Video Editing - Edit engaging short-form content for platforms such as Tik Tok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts (various social media platforms). Add captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and visual enhancements. Optimise pacing and hooks to maximise viewer retention. Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips

• Long-Form Video Production - Edit podcasts, YouTube videos, interviews, and educational content. Clean audio using tools such as Descript or Adobe. Structure content for clarity, engagement, and professional polish & Apply brand styling consistently across long-form assets

• Content Workflow & File Management - Manage raw footage, project files, and export versions efficiently. Maintain organised file structures and naming conventions. Deliver edits within agreed turnaround times and collaborate with internal teams to meet content deadlines

• AI & Modern Editing Tools - Utilise AI tools to improve editing speed and output quality.
  Stay up to date with emerging video trends and editing techniques & recommend workflow improvements where appropriate

What your profile will look like:

• Must Have: Demonstrated hands-on video editing experience (short and long form)
• Must Have: Strong proficiency in CapCut, Descript, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Must Have: High attention to detail and strong visual storytelling skills
• Must Have: Strong understanding of social media content styles and trends
• Must Have: Ability to work independently and manage multiple editing tasks
• Must Have: Fast turnaround capability without sacrificing quality
• Preferred: Experience editing for digital brands, agencies, or creators
• Preferred: Experience with AI-assisted editing tools
• Preferred: Motion graphics or basic animation skills
• Preferred: Experience working with Australian clients or brands
