Job description

About OpenLoop

OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring care anywhere. Our telehealth support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states.

About the Role

OpenLoop is looking for a Director, Channel Partnerships, Health Systems to serve as the senior-most operator owning both the full lifecycle of OpenLoop's hospital and health system partnerships and the growth of those relationships over time. This role starts where the current partnership sits and pushes it further — onboarding additional departments, service lines, and hospital campuses within already-signed systems, and expanding referral flow from a single program into referrals across OpenLoop's full wellness portfolio (medical nutrition therapy, metabolic health & weight management, sleep, and remote patient monitoring).

This individual will own the strategic and operational relationship with health system partners that collectively drive the majority of OpenLoop's current patient volume, acting as the connective tissue between hospital stakeholders, internal clinical and technical teams, and executive leadership. This leader will also build the Provider Engagement team required to run that motion at scale as the book of business grows.

This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role suited to a seasoned healthcare growth operator who thrives on building scalable playbooks, managing complex cross-functional implementations, translating operational rigor into measurable referral and revenue outcomes, and building and leading the team that turns single-department pilots into system-wide, multi-product referral partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Own the expansion motion inside existing health system accounts — identify and onboard additional departments, service lines, and hospital campuses within systems OpenLoop has already signed, rather than treating onboarding as a one-time event.

  • Build and execute a cross-sell strategy that introduces OpenLoop's full wellness portfolio (metabolic health & weight management, sleep, RPM) into accounts currently referring only to OpenLoop's MNT program.

  • Maintain a per-account expansion target list of departments, campuses, and product lines not yet onboarded within each existing partner and implement a plan to convert it.

  • Build and lead a Provider Engagement team over time — Oversee all referring provider accounts, directly and through the Provider Engagement team as it's built.

  • Build and maintain OpenLoop's standardized monthly referring/reporting package for health system partners, including expansion and cross-product referral metrics.

  • Own all internal and external reporting for health system partners and key business partners.

  • Lead all Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and recurring operational check-ins with key partners

  • Identify, triage, and resolve customer issues, including patient and provider complaints.

  • Design and execute tactics to drive incremental referral growth and account expansion across existing accounts

Who You Are

  •  15+ years of experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, provider partnerships, account management, or related operational roles.

  • Demonstrated experience growing or expanding existing enterprise or health-system accounts through a land-and-expand track record

  • Experience cross-selling multiple product or service lines into the same enterprise or health-system account.

  • People-management experience, ideally having built or scaled a team from an individual-contributor motion into a multi-person function.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder implementations across technical, clinical, and operational teams.

  • Proven track record owning executive-level relationships (health system leadership, C-suite, or equivalent).

  • Strong project management skills with experience building and scaling operational playbooks.

  • Experience building and delivering reporting packages and QBRs for enterprise or health system partners.

  • Comfort working hands-on in analytics and marketing tools (e.g., Metabase, Klaviyo, Canva, Jotform, or similar).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing external-facing materials for provider and executive audiences.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize across competing demands, and operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.

Our Benefits

In addition, for salaried positions you would also be eligible for:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision plans

  • Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts

  • Flexible PTO

  • 401(k) + Company Match

  • Life Insurance, Pet insurance, and more
