Job Description

The Manager, Strategy & Insights-Regional Gorcery supports regional Grocery Wholesale customer teams by turning data into clear insights and recommendations that drive incremental sales and improved in-store and online execution. This role analyzes event performance (e.g., displays, ads, features) and OMNI-related growth opportunities, translating findings into customer-ready materials and actionable next steps. The Analyst will partner closely with Sales, Category Management, ECM, and external partners to ensure strong event setup, execution readiness, and proof of performance. Success is measured by the quality and timeliness of insights, adoption of recommendations, and measurable improvement in program execution and results.

 Key Responsibilities

 Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze event and promotional performance using retailer POS and internal data to identify drivers of incremental volume, distribution, and execution effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain recurring performance reporting (weekly/monthly) to track KPIs
  • Create customer-ready reporting and materials that communicate event objectives, execution expectations, and performance results (e.g., recaps, scorecards, readouts).

Program Execution & Tracking

  • Support end-to-end tracking of events and initiatives, including set-up confirmation, execution status, and post-event proof of performance.
  • Maintain trackers and documentation to enable accurate reporting, repeatability, and continuous improvement across customer programs.
  • Escalate execution risks early (e.g., missing setup elements, incomplete data, delayed inputs) and propose practical mitigation options.
  • Engage external partners (where applicable) to obtain inputs, validate execution details, and align on performance measurement.

Continuous Improvement

  • Standardize and simplify reporting outputs to improve speed, reliability, and stakeholder adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring analysis, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy.
  • Document definitions, assumptions, and processes to ensure consistent measurement and handoffs across teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Ecom, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in analytics, sales/customer analytics, revenue analytics, category analytics, or a related role (CPG, retail, consulting, or adjacent industries).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, structured analysis; comfort with large datasets).
  • Experience working with promotional event planning (Compass)
  • Experience building and presenting dashboards or recurring reporting in Power BI
  • Strong data storytelling skills: ability to translate analysis into clear, concise recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working across functions and adapting outputs to different audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in CPG, retail, grocery wholesale, or omnichannel/eCommerce environments.
  • Familiarity with retailer POS data and syndicated data sources (and common retail performance metrics.
  • Exposure to digital graphic tools (Adobe)

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $130,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
