It’s our vision to transform the way people find what they love by combining technology with the creative touch of style experts. The Stitch Fix experience is not merely curated—it’s truly personalized to each client we style. We are committed to inspiring our clients to look, feel and be their best selves. Founder Katrina Lake created Stitch Fix to blend the human element of personal styling with individually selected clothing and proprietary algorithms. She shipped the first Stitch Fix order (what we call a “Fix”) out of her Cambridge apartment in 2011 while attending Harvard, and today the company has brought convenience and an exclusive shopping experience to millions of men, women and kids throughout the US and UK. At Stitch Fix, we pride ourselves on personal styling for every one and every body. Our thousands of remote stylists, both in the US and UK, are instrumental in building relationships through Fixes that leverage client feedback and data. The secret to Stitch Fix’s success has been a balance of art and science. Our trusted style partners use our proprietary styling platform to help clients near and far find pieces that fit their lifestyle from everyday occasions to special events. We are building a transformative and inclusive e-commerce model focused on convenience and personal style that makes it radically simple and delightful for customers to discover and buy what they love. So ‘Why Stitch Fix?’ In addition to all of our benefits and perks, no matter what department you work with, every member plays a part in paving the way we bring the power of personalization to millions while disrupting the retail industry with innovation and tech on our side. Job description

About Stitch Fix, Inc.

Stitch Fix (NASDAQ: SFIX) Stitch Fix is redefining retail by combining human creativity with advanced data science and Generative AI. As we build the future of personalized shopping, we’re equally committed to building yours.  We believe in investing in our team as much as our technology. Join us to be a trendsetter in the industry and help us redefine what’s possible for our clients, while we help you reach your full potential.

About the Role

As the Senior Manager of Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and operationalizing Stitch Fix’s company vision and strategy, helping ensure we deliver on our corporate goals. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Strategy, you will lead strategic planning and business review processes, deploy go-to-market strategies, and drive high-priority initiatives from planning through execution. You’ll partner closely with leaders and stakeholders across Tech, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Operations, and Client Services to translate corporate priorities into clear, measurable actions and meaningful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead corporate strategy planning, including developing the strategic narrative and roadmap, setting and managing OKRs, and aligning teams around Stitch Fix’s highest-priority corporate objectives.
  • Own the Monthly Business Review (MBR) process, establishing clear measures of progress, surfacing risks and opportunities, and driving accountability against company goals.
  • Deploy go-to-market strategies and other high-priority strategic initiatives from inception through execution, establishing clear ownership, deliverables, success measures, and decision points.
  • Partner cross-functionally with senior leaders and teams across the business to solve complex problems, translate data and qualitative insights into actionable recommendations, and ensure strategic priorities are embedded in day-to-day execution.
  • Develop scalable tools, processes, competitive insights, and ways of working that improve strategic execution, strengthen connection to company priorities, and help teams operate more effectively.
  • Operate independently with single-threaded ownership, taking full accountability for driving priorities from strategy through execution and delivering measurable results

How AI and tools show up in your day-to-day work

  • Use AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and other emerging technologies, to accelerate research, synthesize information, structure complex problems, and improve the efficiency and quality of strategic work.
  • Work with the core planning, analytics, goal-setting, and business review tools and systems needed to track initiatives, measure results, and communicate progress.
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies and AI-enabled ways of working to improve decision-making, collaboration, and business outcomes.

About You

This is what you’ll need to succeed in this role from day 1.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategy consulting, strategy planning, operations, or a related function within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading OKRs, goal-setting processes, and business reviews, with a track record of aligning teams to corporate objectives and driving accountability.
  • Strong experience deploying go-to-market strategies and managing strategic initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Expertise in building cross-functional partnerships, influencing without authority, and aligning diverse stakeholders around shared goals.
  • Strong structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to move between high-level corporate strategy and tactical execution and translate complex data and qualitative insights into clear recommendations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill the “so what” and tailor messages for senior leaders and other audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and change, balancing near-term responsiveness with long-term strategic priorities.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and a willingness to use and learn technologies such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar systems to improve the quality and efficiency of strategic work.
  • This position may require the ability to sit for extended periods of time, use a computer or other office equipment, and communicate effectively (verbal and written).

Nice to Have

  • Experience conducting competitive intelligence and translating industry trends, innovations, and best practices into strategic recommendations.
  • Experience developing scalable tools, processes, or operating mechanisms that help teams execute strategic initiatives more effectively.
  • Exposure to strategy work spanning multiple functions such as Technology, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Operations, or Client Services.
