Position: Medical Appointment Setter

Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)
Contract Type: Independent Contractor Agreement

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Appointment Setter to join a fast-paced, insurance-related environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong phone skills who are comfortable handling high call volumes and providing clear, compassionate assistance to patients.

You will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling medical appointments, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience for every caller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel medical appointments accurately.
  • Provide clear and professional communication to patients following established scripts and guidelines.
  • Document call outcomes and appointment details accurately in internal systems.
  • Meet daily call volume, quality, and productivity expectations.
  • Work efficiently in back-to-back call flows with minimal downtime.

  • Call Type: Inbound and outbound calls
  • Environment: High-volume, fast-paced, back-to-back calls

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills (C1+ required).
  • Knowledge in Medical Terminology
  • Proven experience in BPO or call center environments, in back-to-back accounts.
  • Strong phone presence, active listening, and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to perform consistently in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
