Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Marketing Manager will support Graduate Enrollment Marketing on a per-project basis by producing recruitment communications, travel marketing plans, prospective student nurture plans, testimonial content, and related enrollment marketing materials. Working with Enrollment Marketing and Graduate Admissions, this position will be responsible for completing defined work products that support graduate recruitment and enrollment priorities. Success will be measured by the quality and timely completion of agreed-upon deliverables and project milestones.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Create a comprehensive Fall 2026 Graduate Admissions Travel Communications Plan, including audience messaging, event communications, email and text message content, promotional timelines, and a communications calendar.

Create a Spring 2027 Graduate Admissions Travel Marketing Plan, including audience outreach plans, event promotion timelines, communication cadences, and supporting marketing materials.

Produce enrollment marketing content to support fall and spring recruitment efforts, including email copy, text messages, event invitations, follow-up communications, landing page copy recommendations, and other assigned materials.

Develop a message matrix and supporting content for graduate recruitment events and travel initiatives, tailored to priority audiences, markets, and event types.

Partner with Graduate Admissions and College Marketing to identify and recruit graduate students for testimonials; create outreach materials, interview guides, and a repeatable content collection process.

Interview participants and deliver 5-10 finalized student testimonials for use across websites, email, social media, paid media, and admissions communications.

Create four target audience-specific nurture plans. Each plan will include messaging, audience opportunities, sponsorship and partnership opportunities, communication touchpoints, email content, text messages, event invitations, follow-up communications, and a recommended calendar and cadence. These plans will include plans for Veterans, India recruitment, South Florida recruitment, and certificate program recruitment.

Create presentations, summaries, calendars, templates, and supporting documentation for completed deliverables; revise work based on feedback from Enrollment Marketing, Graduate Admissions, and project stakeholders.

Communicate with the Senior Director, Enrollment Marketing Strategy about assignment expectations, progress, challenges, and deadlines; submit all completed work through the required channels.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor’s degree

At least five years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, enrollment marketing, higher education marketing, or a related field.

Strong writing and content development skills across email, text messaging, web, presentations, and other digital and traditional marketing channels.

Experience creating communications plans, message matrices, content calendars, nurture campaigns, and audience-specific marketing materials.

Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple deliverables and meet established deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to gather input, conduct interviews, and translate information into clear and effective marketing content.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, respond to feedback, and produce accurate, polished, on-brand deliverables.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This is a temporary, part-time remote position structured around the completion of defined project deliverables and milestones.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE

Experience in higher education enrollment marketing, graduate admissions communications, CRM-based nurture campaigns, recruitment event marketing, audience segmentation, and student testimonial development is preferred.
