Overview:

Were hiring a Social Media Content Creator to support a boutique travel company that specialises in off-the-beaten-track and tailor-made tours. The focus of this role is to help inspire travellers particularly those aged 50+ with the means to enjoy unique experiences to explore exciting destinations with confidence and quality.

This role is ideal for someone whos passionate about travel, has an eye for detail, and knows how to create engaging social media content that truly connects with audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and schedule 3 - 4 posts per day across social media platforms, with a strong focus on reels.

Add compelling captions and storytelling text to bring each post to life.

Review and implement the monthly content calendar, ensuring brand tone and objectives are met.

Track and report on top-performing posts, providing insights to guide decisions on boosting or promotion.

Ensure all content is accurate, especially with geographic references.

(Optional, as the role grows) Assist with competitor analysis, website content updates, newsletters, and retargeting strategies


Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in social media management, ideally in the travel or tourism industry.

Ability to create engaging reels with text overlays.

Strong attention to detail when describing destinations.

Understanding of social media analytics and reporting.

Awareness of travel audiences, especially the 50+ market seeking quality experiences.

Work Hours & Arrangement:

Part-time: 5 -10 hours per week.

Hours aligned to Sydney, Australia (AEST).

Fully remote/virtual role.
