Job description

Company Overview

atomic✳HR is a recruiting startup. We help talented people across Latin America land remote roles with fast-growing startups and marketing agencies in the US and Canada, and we help those companies hire people they'd never have found on their own. We're small, fully remote, and we treat hiring like a growth problem: we test the way we write to candidates and where we post roles, and we use AI tools to move faster. This role sits on our own internal team.

Your Role

This is lead generation pointed at people instead of customers. You'll work across many different roles and industries, and every search starts with two questions: who is this person, and what would actually make them reply? If you've done lead gen or marketing, it's the same muscle you already have. You research an audience and write messages that convert, except here a conversion is a great candidate writing back.

A lot of what you'll source for is marketing and creative work: creative strategists, paid media, performance, growth, and data roles. So if you come from a marketing or agency world, you already understand the people you're reaching and what they care about. You figure out where the right people are, write the outreach, post the role so the right people see it, and improve based on what actually gets responses. Some recruiters treat this as the boring first step of hiring. We think it's the most interesting part, and it's most of this job. No recruiting experience needed. You'll be mentored while you learn the talent side, and you'll have real tools, including a dedicated sourcing platform and AI, to do it at scale.

You'll:

  • Research each new role to understand who the ideal candidate is and where to find them
  • Write and personalize outreach, then test subject lines and openers to lift reply rates
  • Post and promote roles so the right people actually apply
  • Review incoming applicants and shortlist the ones worth talking to
  • Keep your pipeline organized and follow up so no good candidate goes cold
  • Use AI and sourcing tools to work through a large volume without losing the personal touch
  • Track what's working, and change your approach when the numbers say so

You Bring

  • Curiosity and a real drive to keep learning, since every role is a new puzzle
  • Strong written English, and the ability to write to a stranger like a human rather than a template
  • Resourcefulness: handed a new tool and no script, you'd rather figure it out than wait to be told
  • Organization and follow-through, so pipelines stay clean and nothing slips
  • A competitive streak and self-motivation, because a lot of this is chasing a number you want to hit
  • Comfort with basic metrics, and the instinct to test something and adjust
  • A concrete example of a time you used a tool, a tactic, or automation to work smarter or hit a goal

Bonus Points

  • A background in lead generation, marketing, growth, sales, business development, or customer success
  • Experience at a marketing or creative agency, since many of the people you'll reach are creative, paid media, performance, growth, and data professionals
  • Hands-on time with a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce, or with outreach and prospecting tools
  • You already use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) in your day-to-day work
  • A language beyond English and Spanish

What's Offered

  • Fully remote from anywhere in Latin America, part-time to start at roughly 20 to 30 hours a week with room to grow, on hours that overlap US time zones
  • Compensation based on experience, paid weekly in USD as a contractor. Share the range that fits your level and we'll go from there
  • A chance to move your lead-gen or marketing skills into a new field, with mentorship while you learn it
  • A modern stack (a dedicated sourcing platform and AI tools) so you can work at scale from day one
  • Recent graduates and career switchers are welcome, with no recruiting background required. We hire on how you think and how you write
