The Senior Manager, Corporate IT serves as the senior technical leader for the Corporate IT organization, reporting directly to the Director of IT. This role is responsible for driving the technical execution, operational excellence, and continuous modernization of Corporate IT services across Infrastructure, End User Computing, Identity & Access Management, Enterprise Applications, and Service Management.

This is a highly hands-on leadership role focused on technology rather than day-to-day personnel management. The Senior Manager partners with the Service Desk, Systems, Enterprise Applications, and IAM team to provide technical direction, establish engineering standards, remove technical roadblocks, and ensure reliable delivery of enterprise technology services.

The successful candidate is expected to lead complex technical initiatives, architect enterprise solutions, drive automation, improve operational maturity, and serve as the highest technical escalation point within Corporate IT. This individual will help shape the organization's technology roadmap while enabling the Director of IT to focus on strategic planning, financial management, governance, mergers and acquisitions, and executive engagement.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the senior technical authority across Corporate IT.

  • Provide architectural guidance for Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, networking, identity, enterprise applications, and cloud services.

  • Review and approve technical designs, infrastructure changes, and operational standards.

  • Mentor technical leads and senior engineers while fostering engineering excellence across the organization.

  • Act as the primary technical advisor to the Director of IT.

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

  • Lead the modernization of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

  • Oversee endpoint management, device lifecycle, and enterprise mobility solutions.

  • Ensure high availability, resiliency, scalability, and security of Corporate IT infrastructure.

  • Guide disaster recovery, backup, capacity planning, and technology lifecycle initiatives.

Identity & Security

  • Partner with IAM leadership to improve identity governance, lifecycle management, and Zero Trust security.

  • Support implementation of Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity automation.

  • Ensure technology solutions align with corporate security policies and compliance requirements.

Enterprise Applications

  • Partner with Enterprise Applications leadership to ensure reliable delivery of business-critical platforms including Microsoft 365, Workday, Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira Service Management, and other enterprise SaaS solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership for enterprise integrations, APIs, authentication, and platform architecture.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive operational maturity across Corporate IT.

  • Establish technical standards, documentation, and governance processes.

  • Lead major incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.

  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Automation & AI

  • Lead enterprise automation initiatives utilizing PowerShell, Power Platform, APIs, Infrastructure as Code, and AI technologies.

  • Reduce manual processes through automation and workflow optimization.

  • Champion the adoption of AI-enabled IT operations and productivity tools.

Project & Program Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional technology initiatives from planning through implementation.

  • Coordinate technical delivery across Service Desk, Systems, IAM, and Enterprise Applications.

  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

  • Support technology integration activities related to acquisitions and organizational growth.

Vendor & Technology Management

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business outcomes.

  • Provide technical oversight for strategic vendors and technology partners.

  • Assist with technology selection, lifecycle planning, and platform standardization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise information technology.

  • Minimum of 5 years leading enterprise technical teams or technology functions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, and modernization initiatives.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Active Directory, and enterprise endpoint management.

  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms, including Workday, Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira Service Management, and Atlassian products.

  • Strong understanding of networking, identity, security, cloud architecture, and systems administration.

  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, enterprise automation, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.

  • Experience leading major technical incidents and complex enterprise technology initiatives.

  • Proven ability to develop technical standards, operational processes, architectural best practices, and technology roadmaps.

  • Experience with AI-assisted IT Operations (AIOps), Microsoft Copilot, or enterprise AI platforms.

  • Experience leading technology integration activities associated with mergers and acquisitions.

  • Experience working within regulated industries or environments with strong security and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

  • Relevant professional certifications preferred, including Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation/Managing Professional, CISSP, Security+, or equivalent certifications.

$150,289.00 - $225,434.00
