About the Company
Labor Mobility Partnerships (LaMP) is working to unlock one of the largest untapped opportunities in global development: enabling workers from low-income countries to access quality jobs across borders at scale.
We partner with governments, employers, and implementers to build practical labor mobility pathways that work in reality — not just on paper. That means identifying real demand, solving constraints, and helping create systems that can grow over time.
About the Role
We’re hiring an Africa Manager to help build LaMP’s portfolio of work across the continent. This is a builder role.
You’ll help identify where opportunities exist, develop relationships that unlock them, support fundraising and partnerships, and help turn early-stage ideas into real programs. You won’t just be managing projects — you’ll be helping create them.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Programs and the broader LaMP team, while operating with a high degree of autonomy on the ground. This role involves a mix of external engagement ( employers, partners, funders, governments) and internal execution (moving ideas into action and making sure things get done well).
If you like operating at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and execution, this role is for you.
