Job description

We are looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join our team. You will focus on producing high-quality visual assets, exploring design directions, and creating new brand identity systems with consistency and craft. You will work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Senior Designers, Copywriters, Project Managers, and Scientific teams to support client deliverables across diverse media (digital, print, video, social, experiential).

This is a heavy hands-on, execution-focused role designed for a designer building their craft foundation within the pharma advertising space.

You will report to the VP, CD, Art.


Responsibilities

Brand Identity 

  • Develop and explore unique and complete brand identity systems based on strategic declarations of personality, archetype, and tone. 

  • Complete logo explorations, competitive color palette development, typographic applications, and visual language for assigned brands.

  • Create guideline rules or toolkits that define unique attributes of brand systems that can be followed, understood and implemented.

  • Ability to translate new or evolved brand identity systems into different forms based on medium (print, digital, motion, social, experiential).

  • Work closely with art and copy roles to iterate on feedback and refine concepts.


  • Design Execution

  • Composing strong, highly detailed brand identity design systems through purposeful use of typography, photographic style, color, and conceptual graphic style.

  • Expert in graphic design and visual communication skillsets with focus on expression of style, tone, and meaning through visual language.

  • Produce unique and diverse design assets such as icons, infographics, diagrams, social images, web layouts, slide decks, and marketing materials that reflect the established visual identity. 

  • Solid understanding of designing for diverse mediums (print, digital, motion, social).


  • Requirements
  • 2–4 years of professional design experience, ideally in:

  • Branding or visual identity development

  • Creative or advertising agency environments

  • Pharma or healthcare (asset, but not required)

  • A portfolio demonstrating:

  • Strong design fundamentals

  • Typography and layout skills

  • Early examples of brand or visual system work

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with Figma a plus.

  • Ability to interpret feedback and implement revisions efficiently.

  • Comfort working with technical or science-based content with guidance.
