Job description

Mission:

Your mission is to originate and develop relationships with Trade Finance Institutions in furtherance to Interpetrol’s business needs and objectives.

The role will involve extensive interfacing with representatives of said Institutions to identify opportunities for collaboration with Interpetrol. To prioritize prospective Institutions, modern software-based techniques are to be employed (e.g. retrieval-augmented generation) using public and proprietary data sources.

Trade Finance Institutions are to primarily include Trade Finance Banks, but also Fintechs, Clearing Banks, Derivatives Brokerages, and other Financial Institutions as business needs dictate.

Interpetrol will support you in numerous ways, including by providing:

  • an existing network of relationships with 15+ global Trade Finance Institutions
  • a direct interface with Interpetrol’s commercial teams to identify business development opportunities
  • software systems and processes to perform your role efficiently and effectively
  • a travel and representation budget

 

Location:

This is a remote work position available in the EMEA and East Asia timezones, for candidates habitually resident within commuting distance of major trade finance centers (Zurich/Geneva, Frankfurt, Paris, London, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai/Shenzhen/Beijing).

Requirements:

  • proven experience in interfacing with Trade Finance Banks
  • general curiosity for business process automation, incl. incorporating AI agents
  • ability to communicate complex ideas precisely and efficiently in English
