Its services include field technical support, maintenance and repair, FDA field change orders and recalls, bench repair and remanufacturing, installation, call center support, contract manufacturing and logistics, FDA compliance and validation, project management, and training and education.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead the company's commercial growth strategy and sales organization. This executive will have primary responsibility for developing and executing commercial sales strategies, expanding key customer relationships, improving go-to-market execution, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on sales leader with significant medical device industry experience, preferably within a service-oriented environment. This person should have a proven history of building high-performing sales teams, developing strong customer relationships, managing sales operations, and delivering predictable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer engagement.
  • Oversee sales, marketing, and customer success functions and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that expand customer and partner relationships.
  • Support organic growth initiatives as well as acquisition-driven growth.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing, metrics-driven sales organization.
  • Establish clear sales objectives, performance expectations, and accountability measures.
  • Manage and analyze sales pipelines to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop accurate and predictable sales forecasts for executive leadership.
  • Monitor sales performance, KPIs, pipeline activity, and revenue trends.
  • Provide senior leadership with actionable insights regarding sales performance, market opportunities, challenges, and growth initiatives.
  • Lead business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial negotiations.
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, systems, and overall commercial effectiveness.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and retain top sales talent.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and results.
  • Address customer and employee concerns while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of medical device sales experience, preferably in a service-oriented environment.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales strategy, sales operations, or revenue operations.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing sales operations, strategy, or commercial functions.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience developing and executing sales and go-to-market strategies.
  • Proven experience building, leading, and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, KPIs, and sales analytics.
  • Experience with marketing and customer service/customer success functions.
  • Strong business development and relationship-management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • A proactive leadership style with the ability to have direct, constructive conversations and hold teams accountable.
  • Passion for the medical device and healthcare services industries.

Leadership Profile

The successful candidate will be a strategic and commercially minded executive who can operate at both the executive and operational levels. They should be comfortable setting the vision while remaining close enough to the business to understand pipeline performance, customer needs, team execution, and market opportunities.
