Software Tester (Manual & Automation with Cypress.io)

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute thorough manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress.io.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to identify, log, and track bugs and defects.
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and regression testing.
• Analyze test results and ensure solutions meet the required quality standards.
• Work in an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements in software usability and functionality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in manual software testing and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress.io for automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and REST APIs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an Agile or Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
