Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing customer billing, collections, and receivable records to ensure timely payment and accurate financial reporting. This role involves issuing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, reconciling customer accounts, and supporting month-end closing activities while maintaining proper documentation and compliance with company procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, debit notes, and credit notes accurately and timely.

  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.

  • Record incoming payments and ensure proper allocation in the accounting system.

  • Prepare AR aging reports and collection status updates for management review.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and clients regarding billing matters.

  • Support month-end closing and audit documentation related to receivables.

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices and supporting records.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with up to 2 years of relevant working experience will have an added advantage.

  • Fundamental knowledge and experience in accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.

  • Good command of spoken and written English.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal departments.

  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

  • Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.
