Arrowhead Intermediaries is seeking a Director of Financial Systems & Transformation to join our growing team in Florida or North Carolina. 

The Director of Financial Systems and Transformation will work with the Technology Solutions organization to drive key business requirements, needs, and priorities in the discovery, evaluation, selection, and implementation of financial systems supporting Arrowhead Intermediaries (AHI).  Knowledge of AI platforms and applications will be critical to evaluating solutions and practical use casesThis role serves as the primary liaison between Accounting, Finance, and Technology to ensure financial systems align with business needs, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and Brown & Brown enterprise standards. Experience within the insurance industry—carrier, brokerage, MGA, or specialty insurance environment—is critical to initial success in this role. 

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Lead financial systems discovery initiatives across AHI on behalf of Finance 

  • Evaluate financial software, tools, and workflows supporting insurance operations. 

  • Oversee vendor evaluation, RFPs, and system selection. 

  • Serve as the AHI team lead for innovation and AI application 

  • Serve as liaison between Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams. 

  • Ensure systems align with compliance, controls, and GAAP requirements. 

  • Partner with Brown & Brown enterprise Finance and Technology teams. 

  • Support system implementations and post-implementation optimization. 

  • Assist in preparation of business cases and ROI analysis. 

  • Collaborate with Program Management on planning, resourcing, and prioritization. 

 

Skills & Experience to be Successful: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. 

  • 10+ years of experience in financial systems or finance transformation roles. 

  • Insurance industry experience (carrier, brokerage, MGA) strongly preferred. 

  • Experience leading system evaluations and implementations. 

  • Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance.
